December 17, 1937 - November 4, 2022 Rosalie Cauchi passed away peacefully on November 4th at the age of 84. Rosalie was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born in Mayville, North Dakota to William & Lylah Havig December 17, 1937. After moving to San Francisco she attended Marina junior high and graduated from Galileo high school class of 1956. Rosalie is survived by her loving husband Nicholas Cauchi, devoted children Ericka Berkson of San Mateo, Jena Cauchi of San Mateo, son in law Jerry Berkson and grandchildren Hailey Babcock (20), Tyler (20) and Tanner Berkson (16). She is also survived by her brother Bill Havig of San Diego. Rosalie enjoyed spending time in the sunshine reading her books and rooting on her local bay area sports teams (49ers, Giants and Warriors) Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all. Celebration of Life November 26th 11-3 at Popular Creek Golf course San Mateo. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial contributions be made to The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

Elaine Cilia was born in San Francisco, CA. She was the youngest child of Bernice Angela and Charles Hiram Andrus Sr. Elaine passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on November 10th. 2021. Elaine graduated from St. Brigid's High School. She went to work at a finance company and then switched careers in 1945 to a Military Officer Payroll Clerk at Letterman Army Hospital in the Presidio. She married William Cilia and they settled in the Sunset District where she lived for 58 years. She worked at Letterman until the birth of her first child. She was the proud mother of two children. Her hobbies included playing the piano, bowling in the Tuesday morning league, reading, knitting, and chauffeuring her children and classmates to all their sporting events, field trips, school (when Muni did not stop for us) and even a few part time jobs! Elaine was a longtime member of St. Gabriel's Parish volunteering in many ways including being a Boy Scout Leader, a Brownie Leader and participating in many Mother's Club activities to name a few. Elaine loved nature and animals. She loved vacationing with her family especially at the National and State Parks throughout the U.S. She was an avid fan of Bay Area sports teams especially the San Francisco 49er's! Mom was proud to have lived in San Francisco for 86 years until she moved to Casa Sandoval in Hayward to be near her daughter and son-in-law. She loved her Bingo games at Casa Sandoval and her "penthouse" on the seventh floor. Elaine is survived by her daughter Angela (Russ), nephew Charlie (Pam), niece Mary (Martin), nephew Jim (Mari), great nephews Charlie (Courtney), Patrick, Tom (Maddie), Michael, Tim, Mathew, Mikayla, Christina, Eric, Vince and Zoey. Also her great grand Niece Sophie and many cousins.
Elaine was grandmother to David and Michelle Cilia and great grandmother to Chiron, Renate and Silas. She was also grandma to many rescue dogs, currently Ranger!
Elaine was predeceased by Bill her husband, Michael her son, sister-in-law Lucy Johnson, brother Charles (Junie) sister-in-law Genevieve and many lifelong friends.
Thank you to the staff at Casa Sandoval for the past nine years, especially Noe and Jacinta! Also, thanks to Vitas Hospice especially Lydia, Herminder, Adina and Derrick! Thanks mom for your guidance, patience, grace, teaching us the benefits of using common sense, showing us the importance of a positive attitude and the healing power of laughter!
